Nepal

I spent most of the month of October in the beautiful country of Nepal.

I was amazed with the busy streets of Kathmandu, hiked more in a day than I thought my legs could, sat in a monastery while listening to the chanting of monks, woke up to a magnificent view of Everest, got my camera punched by a little whipper snapper while I took his photo, cooked and ate Nepali food, met some amazing people and had an overall unforgettable experience.

Here are some photos from my trekking journey.

Hundreds of adults and children poured into Potrero del Sol (La Raza) Park to eat, drink and admire lowriders. Here are some of my favorites from the day.

Warriors

Caitlin invited me to attend a Warriors watch party back in June. I know little to nothing about sports, but my lack of basketball knowledge didn't take away from the experience. Thank you Caitlin for letting me tag along!

East Coast Summer

July on the east coast: sweaty days, hot nights, and lots of family time. Getting to connect with my family face to face after spending months apart is something I cherish. Here are some of my favorite shots from our 4th of July celebration.

"The Mexican Museum is the oldest museum in the country focusing on Mexican, Mexican-American and Chicano art. Its rich collection of art ranges from Mesoamerican to colonial art."

"At a time in which gentrification is rapidly displacing many longtime Latino residents from their neighborhoods, Tuesday’s celebration was an indication of what a museum can do for the Latino community in San Francisco."
